Sound Insurance Solutions Northwest was founded by Kirsten and Brandon Keneipp, a husband-and-wife team with a genuine passion for helping our community navigate the complex world of health insurance. Our approach is rooted in putting clients at the center of everything we do, and we’re committed to walking alongside you from start to finish. We believe insurance should never be “one size fits all”—which is why we consider ourselves educators first. Our favorite thing is turning complicated concepts into clear, understandable choices. We do this by offering our time, knowledge, compassion, and empathy—every step of the way.

After 18 years working with health insurance carriers specializing in Medicare, Kirsten realized she wanted to serve her community more directly than she could from within a large corporation. She launched Sound Insurance Solutions Northwest to offer a broader portfolio of coverage and a more personalized experience. Having started her career at age 15, Kirsten has spent a lifetime helping people understand and access their benefits. Whether you’re new to Medicare or transitioning between plans, she brings precision, care, and a detail-driven mindset to ensure your insurance fits just right.

Brandon, Kirsten’s partner in life and business, brings a thoughtful and dedicated approach to serving the Medicare community. After many years immersed in other facets of the insurance industry, Kirsten’s passion for Medicare inspired Brandon to shift his focus and join her in supporting this vital population. His background as a business owner, combined with years of collaborative experience alongside Kirsten, have given him a deep appreciation for personalized service. Brandon takes the time to understand each client’s story, ensuring every recommendation is both informed and tailored to individual needs.

Outside of work, Kirsten and Brandon share three energetic kids (ages 15, 13, and 10) and a love for exploring the Pacific Northwest. They stay active as a family through hiking, camping, kayaking, and a whirlwind of youth sports including track, football, baseball, and roller derby. As a proudly involved Boy Scout family, they also embrace service, leadership, and the outdoors as core values in both their personal lives and their work. Washington isn’t just where they live—it’s the community they care deeply about and serve with heart.
